Great food reasonable priced excellent service family oriented they treat you like family there

Breakfast almost became lunch! After my wife and I ordered,it was 39 minutes before we received our breakfast! Waitress never even mentioned it might take that long! After I told her she should have let me know that it could take that long, I would make the decision whether to stay or go! After that then they started telling their customers. Food really good though!

This is a wonderful place to go. the environment is wonderful the people are great, the food is cheap and good and the waitresses are just absolutely wonderful. A very delightful place. I love this place so much because the food is like homemade food it's not in a bag or processed food it's all made by hand and that's why I think I love most about this Cafe. If your by that way I suggest to stop in and have a bite to eat and see for yourself

Pretty terrible service. Over an hour before getting food. Luckily our table was in a storage closet so there was an ample supply of crackers and jam to hold us over.

Decent food. Limited options if you don't eat animals, birds or fish. Waitresses were attentive. However, they can do more to get the place rid of the pesky flies.

Service was not quick, but they warned us ahead of time they were very busy. It was worth the wait!!! Breakfast Burrito smothered in gravy was excellent. I would recommend this establishment and will definitely return here the next time I am in Buena Vista.

The food was outstanding! It took a little white to get it, but it was worth the wait! They accommodated our big group with two littles, and seated us right away. Friendly and attentive staff, cute decor, great location, and yummy food (as mentioned before ;))!

Food was great, service was a bit slow but our server was very friendly and personable.

The service was a little slow, the food was good, it was noisy in the restaurant and the prices were very reasonable.

This is a great restaurant for breakfast. It's clean and really cute, but it's not very big so we had to wait about 10 minutes. I ordered the Alaskan Benedict (salmon) which was excellent, including the hollandaise. Choices of a side are fried potatoes or (shredded) hash browns - go with the former because they're extra crispy, really yummy! Wonderful servers and we will definitely return!

I don't know what people are talking about, the to-go breakfast burritos were miserable, but the service was excellent.

Family friendly place with AMAZING muffins!

Undercooked. Took forever. Didn't do anything about it when served gluten in the meal even when we mentioned it needed to be gluten free.

Busy but worth the wait! Usual breakfast diner type grub but done very well. I enjoyed the eggs benedict.

Nice atmosphere and affordable dishes. I ordered the Jogger skillet specifically for the avocado, but it was squeezable avocado. So that was disappointing.

Great restaurant! The portions are huge and tasty, and the employees are very friendly. The prices are really reasonable for such big amounts of food. Definitely check this one out!

Polite waitresses however the hash browns weren't cooked still raw and the chicken fried steak dinner wasnt fresh at all the meat tasted older and had a smell to it. Pretty bummed.....

Awesome food, wonderful, attentive staff, and lots of food. The staff was able to accommodate a large party without a problem. I would highly recommend! Their breakfast burrito was so delicious.

I love breakfast here.! This is where my girlfriend's and I love grab breakfast and catch up. Is the food show stopping, no...but its like your mom made it... Comfortable atmosphere, good food, lots of choices, and good prices. Staff is family like...like they might call you "honey" 😉 Love it here

Got the Florentine Benedict to go and it was quite tasty. Staff was friendly and are working hard to keep patrons safe during COVID.

Sat for 90 minutes waiting for food. Watched everybody get served around us. I guess if your hispanic you don't get service?

Been here a few times when passing through town. Service is excellent and food is even better. We've tried the basic breakfasts with eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast to the yummy skillets, pancakes, and Alaskan Benedict with poached eggs. All good! Occasionally the wait for food is a little longer than normal but totally worth the wait. We look forward to eating here again.

This place had great breakfast and the service was excellent.

Half empty and food still took over 50 minutes for two breakfasts. Took 15 minutes before that to even place an order Staff were polite but not informative about delays or issues. Do they need more staff?

We were close by at Mt. Princeton for the hot springs and decided to find a good breakfast place. Came across this place saw good reviews and weren't disappointed. The service was awesome, everyone was welcoming and most importantly the breakfast was very filling and tasty.

Delicious salads come with a homemade muffin. Good half portions for seniors. Attentive service. Clean facility. Breakfast and.lunch menus till 2:00.

Very good, shares the block with the best and a great alternate for something different. We last went when they were VERY busy and the substitutions were thoughtful and very well done. One of my faves in BV.

Wonderful food. We were told it was packed and food may be slow. We had 3 people check with us for coffee. They took our order and food came quick.The food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. Definitely would come again

The food looked and tasted great until: I found tomatoes under my eggs! I told the waitress No tomatoes, my husband even made a joke I would throw the tomatoes .. The waitress did offer to make a new one but I said no since we are traveling. The waitress was very sweet and took it off our bill.

I eat at rooster crow nearly every time in through the area. Beat breakfast around. Friendly staff. The waitresses faces have not changed in years which tells you the owner must be good folks.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy plus. In other words, biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns. You can get it with onions, but I passed. The meal was perfect to my tastebuds. Had a short wait, as this place is popular. With the extra procautions in place, I expected that. Very reasonable prices. The wait staff is incredible and seem like they never stop moving.

Great food friendly service

We have been to this restaurant many, many times. Our favorite breakfast place anywhere, not just BV. Unfortunately our latest experience was not pleasant. They must have lost their cook during the pandemic shut down because their current cook can’t. I ordered 2 eggs over medium- came almost all the way cooked. I don’t eat carbs, so ordered extra bacon along with the bacon with the meal - all came cremated. I mean I have never been served such severely burned food. I sent the extra serving of bacon back (tried to eat the other) and when I got the replacement bacon it was almost as over cooked. I like crispy bacon, but man, this was unreal. (My husbands bacon was the same) We are going to give it one more try and I will update this with the results and up the stars if things improve. Please get a new cook!

Amazing food, great service! I ordered extra avocado and THEY BROUGHT OUT EXTRA AVOCADO THANK YOU SO MUCH! I would recommend sharing a plate with a friend, the portions are huge and delicious.
